Morse Park Neighborhood Organization 2000 Wadsworth BLVD #182 Lakewood, Co 80214-05795
Board meeting schedule
The board generally meets every second Thursday of the month. The meeting place is at 6:30 pm in the small conference room at the Charles Whitlock Recreation Center on 1555 Dover Street. Public participation is welcome.
Due to its central location and proximity to three major business corridors, the Morse Park neighborhood faces many of the same challenges confronting older, established neighborhoods in the growing area. To preserve its unique semi-rural feel and residential character, the Morse Park Neighborhood Organization hopes to support community and neighborhood growth by:
Encouraging our community to openly and actively enjoy our strong neighborhood that includes a safe environment, safe and accessible pedestrian and bicycle connections, low density housing and diverse housing styles;
Supporting family-oriented and locally run businesses on adjacent commercial corridors that support the needs of the neighborhood; and
Supporting projects through volunteer work that revitalize the Colfax Avenue while preserving its unique history and character.
By working toward these three things, the Morse Park Neighborhood Organization hopes to make our neighborhood more than just a spot on the map.
